Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban government, says that Noor Mohammad Saqib, the acting minister of guidance, pilgrimage, and endowments, who led a delegation to Turkey to participate in the conference of Islamic scholars, has met with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey.
The Taliban spokesperson, on Tuesday, 24th of Saur, 1403, described this meeting in a bilateral manner through a post on X, stating that Mr. Saqib has called for “good and advanced relations with Turkey” in this meeting.
According to Mr. Mujahid’s post, Mr. Erdogan expressed satisfaction with ensuring security and the current situation in Afghanistan in this meeting.
While Turkey hosts some important figures from the fallen Afghan Republic, it also maintains very close relations with the Taliban.
