Taliban Intelligence Vehicle Runs Over Two Women in Nangarhar

Local sources from Nangarhar province say that a Taliban intelligence vehicle in Khogyani district of the province has run over two women, killing both of them.
At least three local sources in Nangarhar, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Tahawul that the incident occurred around 6:00 PM (Saturday, August 25) in the Chamtali area of Khogyani district of the province.
The source emphasized that the two women had gone to the market to buy clothes and the incident occurred when they were returning home.
According to local sources, the incident occurred when the two women were crossing the road when a Hilux vehicle from the Taliban Intelligence Department ran over them, killing them.
The identities and ages of the victims of this traffic accident have not yet been determined.
Meanwhile, Sayed Tayyeb Hammad, spokesman for the Taliban security command in Nangarhar, confirmed the incident and said that the driver of the vehicle had been arrested.
He did not say whether the vehicle belonged to Taliban intelligence or not.
The bodies of the victims of this incident have been handed over to their families.
Several people, including women and children, have died in similar incidents in a number of provinces of the country.
