A hunger strike by women activists against the policies of the Islamic Emirate
After the hunger strike of Tamna Parwani, a women’s rights activist in Cologne, Germany, other women and girls in Norway, Pakistan and Afghanistan started a hunger strike in support of Tamna.
A number of girls have been on a 12-day hunger strike in front of the parliaments of Norway and Pakistan for a week and want the international community to recognize gender differences.
On the other hand, members of the Afghan women’s movement in Takhar and Badakhshan provinces in the north of Afghanistan have been on hunger strike for two days.
Protesting girls in Afghanistan, who have recently started a strike against the policies of the current system, say that they will continue to strike until the international community does not pay attention to the demands of women.
