
The First Round of the Nationwide Kankor Exam Held in 11 Provinces
The National Examination Authority, under Taliban control, has announced that the first round of the nationwide Kankor exam for the year 2025 began today, Thursday, May 29, in 11 provinces of the country and is expected to continue until tomorrow. This year, as in the previous year, the nationwide Kankor exam is being held without the participation of female candidates.
According to the statement from the authority, the first round of exams has been held in the provinces of Parwan, Kapisa, Panjshir, Baghlan, Bamyan, Ghor, Daikundi, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Paktia, and Ghazni.
In this phase, 25,300 male candidates have registered to take part in the Kankor exam in the categories of general Kankor, specialized fields, religious schools, and night faculties.
The 2025 Kankor exam is scheduled to be held in five phases, with the process continuing until the July 10.
