Local sources in Ghoor confirm that a Taliban military helicopter crashed in the city of Ferozkoh, the capital of this province. According to sources, the helicopter crashed into a wall of the provincial building today morning (Thursday, 15th of May) and fell into the Harirud River. Sources also add that this incident has resulted in casualties, but the number is not clear yet. The helicopter crashed after intending to go from Ghoor to Herat. So far, the cause of this incident is not clear, and local Taliban authorities in Ghoor have not commented on it yet.
