Mawlawi Abdul Kabir: Due to the lack of equipment, we cannot prevent the flights of unmanned aircraft.

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Taliban government, stated that due to the lack of equipment, they cannot prevent the flights of unmanned aircraft in the skies of Afghanistan. He criticized these flights, claiming that if they had the equipment, such flights would not be possible. It has been reported recently that unmanned aircraft have been flying over various cities in Afghanistan. Although it is unclear which country these aircraft belong to, the Taliban believes they are American. Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesperson, stated in an interview with Tolonews, “Undoubtedly, these aircraft belong to America, flying from the airspace of some neighboring countries to Afghanistan.” So far, the United States has not commented on the Taliban’s claims and the flights of their aircraft over Afghanistan.
