Ten family members killed in an attack by unknown assailants in Khost

Local Taliban officials in Khost province say that ten members of a family, including women and children, were killed in an attack by unknown assailants.

Mustafir Ghurbuz, the spokesperson for the Taliban governor, wrote in a post on X today, Wednesday, January 29, that the mass killing occurred around 9 PM on Tuesday night, January 28, in the “Bukhana” area of Alisher district.

The Taliban official added in another post that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.

So far, the Taliban has not provided any information about the cause of the incident.

Since the Taliban’s takeover, mysterious killings have been on the rise across the country due to the absence of rule of law.
